Born Alicia Michelle Howard to stellar gospel artist, Josephine Howard, of the 'Caravans' and Clay Graham of the 'Pilgrim Jubilee's', the Chicago native was surrounded by music and began singing in church with James Cleveland's 'Voices of Cornerstone' youth choir.

At age 16, Miki was discovered by R & B group Side Effect.

Miki’s story reads like a reality show with no commercial interruptions, from drug abuse to being a victim of spousal abuse to industry blackballing.
