Trick Daddy was recently on the radio discussing his upcomming plans and new business ventures. While on the Ricky
Smiley radio show, Trick spoke straight from the heart and told the story about him getting diagnosed with Discoid
Lupus "I went to the doctor, Dr. Betty Bellman, and we took all types of tests," Trick told Ricky
Smiley. "I was trying to get rid of Acid—for dry skin that black folks used to have. She did biopsies and all types
of blood tests and told me I had the disease Lupus."
"She[The Doctor] did biopsies and blood tests and swab tests. She told me I have lupus. I am allergic highly to
the sun, that's my worst enemy. It's like an AK-47 with a double clip on it. I could jeopardize kidney and liver failure from
the treatment and the medication." Trick goes on to saying that he has been dealing with Lupus since the
age of 12. Despite being diagnosed at such a young age Trick refuses to let it control his life. "My Mama had 11 children
from 10 different men. if she can live with that, I know I can live with this". Trick Daddy also announced
that MTV Books will be releasing a book by Trick Daddy. He revealed he is also going to be doing some acting, something
that should come natural to him, a Gangster. "They got me playing in a move with a lot of the gangsters from 'The Wire' and

C-Murder aka Corey Miller finally was allowed to make bail on Tuesday (March 24, 2009), and has returned to house arrest.
This comes two weeks after he was jailed for allegedly leaving his house without permission [ read here]. State District Judge hans Liljeberg revoked C-Murder's house arrest March
11, two days after his house arrest officer jailed him for allgedly leaving his Knner residence for about 10 minutes just
after 3 a.m [ read here]. Liljeberg increased Miller's bond from $500,000 to $1 million. Official said Miller is using
equity in property to make the bond. C-Murder (or C-Miller as he likes to be called now) Trial is scheduled for April
20th, yes 4-20 C-Murder will be in court, where will you be?
50 Cent continues to "ruin Rick Ross life," this time he uses his own words against him. [watch here] In

Flo Rida is getting spun around... the legal system. The Florida rapper is heading down the DMX path as he is
reportedly being looked for by the police for accusations of animal cruelty after visiting a retail store in Kentucky. Lexington
Police say a witness saw Flo Rida's tour bus stopping and two men got out and killed a rabbit. [ watch here] Without getting into details, police said that the witness said the men step out and simply kill
the rabbit and jump back in the box and move on. Of course Flo Rida might not have been one of the two men, but Police
are looking for his bus which is reportedly heading to Columbus, Ohio

Newcomer
R&B singer Shonie, born in New York but raised in Miami, is a 19-year old female singer and songwriter reminiscent of
an early Mary J. Blige who brings a refreshing youthful sound to the R&B genre. Her lyrics represent the streets of New
York and the ongoing struggles of being a young woman in today's world. Shonie to date has worked with the likes of Hip-Hop

Shaggy and more. His current single is titled "808" featuring Hip Hop giant Plies. Expect Qwote's debut album "Qwote
Un Qwote" to be a mixture of Pop and R&B
and to be released on Final Cut/Slip-N-Slide/Jive Records this summer 2009.
R&B
singer and Jamaican native Camar is a young gifted artist who uniquely blends his own style of singing called "Yard Soul"
which is defined as poignant vocals in an R&B influenced technique over rich Caribbean beats. His new buzz single is titled
"She Luv Me Love." His debut album also titled "Yard Soul" will be released this summer 2009.
New
artists' signings on Slip-N-Slide's expanding roster include: Atiba, Drew Sidora and Swazy Baby. Atiba "The
Dappa Don "was born in New York, but raised in a small neighborhood called Duhaney Park in Kingston,
Jamaica where he grew up around some of the greatest reggae musicians such as Beenie Man, Professor Nuts, Supa Cat and more.
Atiba is best known for his work on Rodney Jerkins' "Versatility" album and the smash single "If I Had One Wish" as
well as recording "We are family" for The Points of Light Foundation. This project not only gave Atiba the opportunity
to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but it helped with the aid to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. His
current single is called "Hey Lady." Expect Atiba's debut album on Slip-N-Slide Records to showcase his unique crossover
hit-making dancehall reggae style.
Drew
Sidora is Hollywood's next "It" Girl and is multi-talented as an actress/ singer/songwriter/dancer and community leader. Known
for her recurring role as Chantel in the Disney Channel Original Series "That's So Raven" and as Lucy Avila in the movie "Step
Up" Sidora is also one of the spokeswomen for Liz Clairborne's LOVE IS NOT ABUSE campaign and curriculum which addresses teen
dating abuse. Between her busy filming schedule Drew signed with Slip-N-Slide Records and now is focused on releasing her
debut album (Titled TBD) to be released in the fall 2009. Sidora can next be seen this spring in two films:
"Frankenhood" (Lionsgate) directed by Rahsheda Natara Harper and staring Charlie Murphy and "Farmhouse" (Alliance Group
Entertainment) staring Kelly Hui directed by George Bessudo (X-Men).
Swazy
Baby is an upcoming rapper and producer from Georgia discovered at a Slip-N-Slide
Records showcase in Jacksonville, Florida. The talented lyricist' album is expected to be released in the fall 2009.
Plies' latest release LP "Da REAList" released on December 16, 2008 is the Hip-Hop superstar's 3rd consecutive
Top 10 record at Urban and Top 15 at Rhythmic radio. Plies' current single "Put It On Ya" featuring Chris J is the
4th consecutive single on the top 10 Billboard R&B and Hip-Hop chart as well. His newest hit single is titled
"Want It, Need It" and features Ashanti. The video is scheduled to air on BET Access Granted February 5th.
Platinum selling #1 female rapper Trina, one of the few significant female artists in the Hip
Hop genre still releasing hit albums, is working on her highly anticipated 5th album (Title TBD) due in spring
2009. Rick Ross is currently in the studio working on his highly anticipated third release, "Deeper
Than Rap." His sophomore album "Trilla" (Released March 11, 2008) has been certified GOLD by the RIAA. Ross was also named

Records is also unveiling 4 Star Recording Studio, a brand new high tech recording studio located in the heart of South Beach
where established singers, songwriters and producers from all over the world can do pre-production and post-production. The

I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a

have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have

Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact
the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part
and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose
her. I really can’t!
Another thing is,
I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved,
so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s
movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want
it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do
with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim

C-Murder Claims
to Have Biased Judge
It appears C's attorney
has requested the judge assigned to the new trial be removed due to his "biased and prejudiced" mindset according to the AP.
Judge Lilijeberg said no, he's not going anywhere. So another judge is going to have to listen to the arguments and decide
if this Lilijeberg can give C a fair trial unlike his first trial. That will happen on February 4th.

Anyway, I wanted to say something maybe you can pass on, I know that people got mad cuz Denzel didnt say much to his fans
during Obamas swearing in, but why do we attack him? Just a week ago, Denzel donated $100,000 to Mt Vernon HS in NY. He spoke
to the people of that town and told them that had it not been for their athletic program, he would not be the Denzel he is
today. So, yeah, I think he did his good deed for the month. I dont see any other actor doing things like that at this time.
Plus, maybe he didnt acknowledge all his fans, because he wasnt there for fans, he was there to be a fan himself, a fan of

The USPS officials had indicated that they weren't going to re-open
the Epes facility. Mayor Walter Porter Sr contacted Congressmen Artur Davis about the matter. Congressman Davis had his
Staffer Daryl Perkins to contact the USPS immediately with a phone call followed by a letter. The Congressman expressed
the hardship the closing would cause the citizens and businesses in the small rural area. The Mayor of Epes was
proud to announce, the Town of Epes Post Office will be renovated and reopened. Mayor Porter went on to say that the
Town of Epes sends out a warm thanks to the Congressman Davis and his faithful staffer Mr. Perkins, for saving the much needed
facility.
