My President is Black

My President is Black

During the Presidential Election, I had reservations about saying what I really felt about the President Obama.  Being Black myself currently living in the deepest of the South and doing business with all races. I continually found myself constantly defending the facts about President Obama that I felt were so obvious to see, to the whites that I do business with and believe it or not Blacks too. The one compliant that I heard constantly was I don’t think he has enough experience. I would reply George W. Bush had all the experience so they thought and he has left America in a condition that it has no earthly business being in.

During Former President George W. Bush Administration from 2001-2008 an estimated 316 million jobs were lost. After a 2008 tally payroll shrink by 533, 000 in November 2008, which was the largest one month decline in nearly 34 years. From 1993-2001 1,760,000 new jobs were created every single year in the U.S. In the seven years while Bush was in Office only 369,000 new jobs were created each year under the Bush Administration and   the poverty line has increased from 31.6 million in 2001 to 36.5 million in 2008.

Under the Clinton Administration number of uninsured Americans rose by 9 million from 38 million in 2001 to 47 million in 2008. Many economists and world government determined that the situation became the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.

I knew President Barack Obama would make history after I had the honor of being in his presence in Birmingham AL. I knew he would be a  President that would be the President for all. There were times when I wanted to write things, but I held my tongue as I remembered my grandmothers words "loose lips sink ships". I had to wait while Campaigning for President Obama by endorsing him publically on the Home page of Rap Soul Urban Magazine.

Now to the core of this article. Jay-Z and Young Jeezy are Rap Artist. It’s a known fact that Rappers say what they want to say. I don’t see anything wrong with what they said they are proud Black Men that are proud that our President is indeed a African American man. Fox News and our dear Bill O’Reilly stated that President Obama should denounce what they said. President Obama isn't responsible for the actions (good or bad) deeds of a entire race of Blacks, just as Former President Bush wasn't responsible for the (good or bad) deeds of the entire race of Whites. Young Jezzy and Jay Z are grown men, neither of them are running for public office (yet). First off, President Obama’s only issues at hand is to fix America, repair and mend the damages that former President Bush caused. The Constitution gives every American (and Visitors)  the right to freedom of speech. Taking in consideration of the state of the World not only America. Our ex Commander in Chief played a major role in this mess.

I’m sure a lot of others wanted to throw shoes at Bush. The way Young Jezzy and Jay-Z expressed themselves is what it is. I didn’t hear President Bush, Senator Mc Cain nor Sarah Palin say anything when white folks in the crowd was saying “Kill Him” making reference to President Obama. I read blogs that was so hateful I couldn’t even respond to them. One guy said he could never allow his children to be raised in America under a Nigga President. I guess him and his children have left the Country by now. The other remarks made that one look nice.

After the Election and President Obama won, there was not one word in the only Newspaper in Sumter AL County Newspaper, neither local Newspapers in Mississippi, and some spots throughout the South. What does that tell you? America spoke the entire America. With that being said “My President is Black” Not only is he Black he’s a good man, husband, and father. He’s smart, elegant, stylish, graceful, tasteful, classy, brilliant, kind, descent, positive, and strong.  Big ups to Jay-Z and Young Jezzy for standing up and being proud of a Great Mentor and Bold Black Man...

I agree with every lyric of the song, just because you don’t understand it maybe it wasn't meant for you, but the ones of us who do I made us proud. James Brown started it with “Say it Loud I’m Black and I’m Proud” . Young Jezzy and Jay Z back doored James Browns version with the following:

Young Jezzy said “

Yeah, be the realest shit I never wrote

I ain't write this by the way nigga, some real shit right here nigga

This'll be the realest shit you ever quote

Let's go!

My president is black, my Lambo's blue

And I'll be goddamned if my rims ain't too

My momma ain't at home, and daddy's still in jail

Tryna make a plate, anybody seen the scale?

My president is black, my Lambo's blue

And I'll be goddamned if my rims ain't too

My money's light green and my Jordans light grey

And they love to see white, now how much you tryna pay?

Let's go!

[Verse 1: Young Jeezy]

Today was a good day, hope I have me a great night

I don't know what you fishin for but catch you a great white

Me, I see great white, heavy as killer whales

I cannot believe this, who knew it came in bails

Who knew what came with jail, who knew what came with prison

Just cause you got opinions, does that make you a politician?

Bush robbed all of us, would that make him a criminal?

And then he cheated in Florida, would that make him a Seminole?

I say and I quote, "We need a miracle"

And I say a miracle cause this shit is hysterical

By my nephews and nieces, I will email Jesus

Tell him forward to Moses and CC Allah

Mr. Soul Survivor, guess that make me a Konvict

Be all you be, now don't that sound like some dumb shit

When you die over crude oil as black as my nigga Boo

It's really a Desert Storm, that's word to my nigga Clue

Catch me in Las Vegas, A.R. Arizona

Rep for them real niggas, I'm winnin in California

Winnin in Tennessee, hands down Atlanta

Landslide Alabama, on my way to Sevana

[Verse 2: Young Jeezy]

I said I woke up this morning, headache this big

Pay all these damn bills, feed all these damn kids

Buy all these school shoes, buy all these school clothes

For some strange reason my son addicted to Polos

Love me some spinach dip, I'm addicted to Houston's

And if the numbers is right I take a trip out to Houston

An earthquake out in China, a hurricane in New Orleans

Street Dreams Tour, I showed my ass in New Orleans

Did it for Soulja Slim, brought out B.G.

It's all love Bun, I'm forgivin you Pimp C

You know how the Pimp be, that nigga gon' speak his mind

If he could speak down from heaven he'd tell me stay on my grind

Tell him I'm doin fine, Obama for mankind

We ready for damn change so y'all let the man shine

Stuntin on Martin Luther, feelin just like a king

Guess this is what he meant when he said that he had a dream

Jay-Z says: My President is black my Maybach too and I'll be goddamned if my diamonds ain't blue. My money's light green and my Porsche is light grey. I'm going to DC anybody Feel Meh! My president is black in fact he's half white, so even in a racist mind he's half right And if you got a racist mind it's alright… My President is black but his house is all White….Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther Could walk, Martin Luther walked so Obama could run, Barrack Obama ran so all the children could fly, So imma spread my wings you could meet me in Da sky!!! I already got my own clothes already got my own shoes, I was hot Before Barrack imagine what I'm gonna do...Hello Ms. America, hey Pretty Lady.. Red, White, and Blue Flag Wave For Me Baby Neva thought I'd Say this shit baby I'm good You can keep ya Puss, I don't want no more BUSH! No More War, No More Iraq! No More White LIES, My President is BLACK!

Young Jezzy said “

[Outro: Young Jeezy]

I'm important too though, my Lambo's blue

I was, I was the first nigga to ride through my hood in a Lamborghini yeah haha

For the record and the people that ride the little short bus. when Jay Z said "No more white lies" he was speaking of the WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, that nobody ever found. He's not calling Whites liars. As far as the statement made during Billy O’Reilly Show with Dennis Miller, that they expected more from Jay Z than that since he is a Businessman. What da hell does that have to do with him saying what he feels through his music. Yes he is a successful Businessman, so is Young Jezzy. The both of them left the streetz alive and are now Black Millionaires...

Bill O’Reilly you are a fine one to talk. For those of you who don’t remember, on October of 2004, the words “loofa” and “falafel” were mainstreamed into our sexual vocabulary. To the shock of some, and to the entertainment of millions, religious right wingnut Bill O'Reilly was accused of sexually harassing coworker Andrea Mackris with explicit phone conversations that were allegedly taped. Besides the use of loofas and falafel's as sex objects, Bill O’Reilly had also revealed homoerotic desires to use vibrators on himself, fantasies of explicit Caribbean vacations, and a desire for Ms. Mackris to perform oral sex on him, but not finish. He also revealed some disturbing news about what Fox News was planning to do to Al Franken. To Bill O’Reilly’s enemies, this news was God sent. I heard he settled with her out of Court, I wonder where his wife was while Mr. Bill was being a Naughty Boy? So to Bill O’Reilly go play with yourself.

Come on youngsters lets keep it moving. You don’t have to be a drug dealer to get rich.... Get your education prepare for your future. The formula is with good character and education plus humility, you can be all you want to be even the President of the Great United States of America...

When President Yahya Jammeh told me that knowing your Roots gives you the confident and the Power to do whatever you want to do. There are certain characteristic that are in the DNA of each race. On my visit to Africa and Jamaica, I saw my relatives in the faces of the mass. I saw the reason I loved to dance, I saw the reason Blacks may seem aggressive, by making hand gestures. Somethings are just in the DNA.

I am not only proud that my President is Black I'm more so PROUD of my fellow citizens. I saw everybody of all races crying in the streets rejoicing in the cold. We showed the World that Americans are as one. We may not eat dinner together every evening or may not even speak to one another, but when we need each other we stand together as ONE.

Today, as always but even more so now I am a American I am Black and I’m Proud and it ain't nothing nobody can do about it... PS: My  President is BLACK.... 4 real doe... Peace Out.

Mr. Bill freaking out on his Show. I guess he couldn't find the FACTOR that day. Bill please continue taking your medication. This truly isn't a good look.
